1. General Information
LEDLITY and the LEDLITY Toroidal Inductor Calculator are operated by ESTA PR Uroš Nešić, Ulica Cupiceva 21, 37000 Krusevac, Republic of Serbia.
The LEDLITY Toroidal Inductor Calculator is an engineering software tool intended to assist engineers, designers, technicians, students, and other technically qualified users in the analysis and design of toroidal inductors.
The information, calculations, design candidates, warnings, reports, and other results produced by LEDLITY are provided as engineering design assistance and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of the performance, safety, compliance, manufacturability, or suitability of a physical component or final product.
2. Engineering Calculations and Results
Calculation results depend on the information entered by the user, engineering models implemented in the software, material and component data available to the system, and the validity range of those models and data.
LEDLITY may calculate or evaluate parameters including, but not limited to:
- toroidal core selection;
- wire selection;
- number of turns;
- calculated inductance;
- DC-bias effects and inductance retention;
- magnetic field strength and flux-related quantities;
- winding feasibility and winding utilization;
- copper losses;
- core losses;
- estimated temperature rise; and
- alternative engineering design candidates.
These results are calculated estimates based on the available models and data. Actual component behavior may differ because of manufacturing tolerances, material variation, winding construction, operating conditions, frequency-dependent effects, cooling conditions, surrounding components, measurement methods, and other factors that cannot be fully represented by a calculation model.
3. Manufacturer and Material Data
LEDLITY may use technical data originating from manufacturers, published catalogs, datasheets, technical documentation, or engineering datasets derived from such information.
Manufacturer names, product names, part numbers, trademarks, and other identifiers remain the property of their respective owners. Their presence in LEDLITY does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or approval by the respective manufacturer unless explicitly stated.
Technical data may be revised by manufacturers without notice. Users should verify critical parameters against the current official manufacturer documentation before committing a design to production.
4. No Silent Extension Beyond Valid Data
LEDLITY is designed to identify and communicate certain situations in which available engineering data or model validity is insufficient for a calculation. Where appropriate, the software may reject a calculation, mark a candidate as invalid, or display a warning instead of silently extending engineering data beyond its supported range.
Such warnings and validation checks reduce engineering uncertainty but do not eliminate the need for professional engineering judgment and physical verification.
5. User Responsibility
The user is responsible for verifying that all input data are correct and appropriate for the intended application.
Before using a calculated design in a prototype, production unit, commercial product, safety-related system, or other practical application, the user should independently review the design and perform appropriate engineering verification.
Depending on the application, this may include prototype construction, electrical measurements, inductance measurements under operating current, thermal measurements, efficiency testing, insulation testing, EMC testing, reliability testing, and verification under worst-case operating conditions.
6. Safety and Regulatory Compliance
LEDLITY does not certify that a calculated design complies with any particular safety standard, electrical standard, EMC requirement, insulation requirement, environmental requirement, industry regulation, or legal requirement.
Compliance requirements depend on the final application, product architecture, jurisdiction, operating environment, and applicable standards. Determining and demonstrating such compliance remains the responsibility of the designer, manufacturer, or other party placing the final product into service or onto the market.
7. Professional Engineering Judgment
LEDLITY is an engineering assistance tool and is not a substitute for professional engineering judgment.
Users are responsible for deciding whether a calculated design is appropriate for their application and for determining what additional analysis, testing, validation, safety margins, or professional review may be required.
8. High-Risk and Safety-Critical Applications
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, LEDLITY is not designed, certified, or intended to serve as the sole design or verification method for applications where failure of a component could reasonably result in death, personal injury, significant property damage, or serious environmental harm.
Such applications require independent engineering analysis, appropriate safety measures, applicable certifications, and physical validation appropriate to the level of risk.
9. Availability and Software Changes
We may update the LEDLITY software, calculation methods, user interface, engineering datasets, supported manufacturers, materials, features, and validation rules as the service develops.
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, software updates, hosting infrastructure, security measures, or events outside our reasonable control.
10. Limitation of This Disclaimer
Nothing in this Disclaimer is intended to exclude or limit any right, remedy, warranty, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Additional rules governing the use of LEDLITY are set out in our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Return and Refund Policy.
